The Artist

I am the artist and owner of OLA-PICSOLA.  I never understood just how much art and photography meant to me until I lost both my parents to cancer.  Since then I have realized that life is too precious and too short to waste it on anything other than what you love.  By the grace of God I know I will see them again. Until then, I will treasure life, love deeply and live fearlessly.

The Vision

Art for art's sake is indeed a noble craft but truth be told, artists don't just want to create visually interesting objects.  Artists want to achieve something far bigger.  Some want to evoke emotion, others awareness, some wish to inspire people or influence change.  OLA-PICSOLA allows me to share the joy that I feel when I see the world around me.  It is a reminder that we are all BOLD, Unique and Original.

Pookie Supports...

Furthermore, this vision has inspired a partnership with Women World Changers, an organization determined to fight against human trafficking.  My vision for the Pookie the Fox graphic in the Pookie Supports Campaign is for that image to someday have the power to send a message that we will not sit idly by while the value of human life is destroyed for profit and to be a symbol of hope for all the vulnerable people across the globe that need someone to fight for them.  Those that work in the shadows can be fought by those who work in the light.
